A friend or a relative may have entered your childs photo hoping that the snacks would be an appreciated gift. Please know that Youth Sports Parents and ClifBars will NOT publish any photograph without the guardians consent. We apologize for any confusion and regret that we did not have a rule that prohibited non-guardians from entering the contest.
How do I know if my child's photo was received?
Once you send your child's photo, you will receive an automatic confirmation that your entry has been received. The notification does not mean that you are necessarily eligible to receive Promotional Items from Clif Kid, which will be determined based on the number of prior entries of images for your child’s sport and the total number of eligible prior entries received.I recently submitted a picture of my child for the photo contest. When will his/her photo appear on the MomsTeam site?
Every photo submitted will be carefully reviewed by MomsTeam on the basis of creativity and quality of image. Only the best photos will be selected, as determined in Youth Sports Parent’s sole discretion. As a result, it is likely that not all photographs will be selected for posting on the YouthSportsParents.com website. If selected, images will most likely appear in the sport center most relevant to the photograph. Youth Sports Parents reserves the right to post a selected photo anywhere on the Youth Sports Parents website. For example, if the image is of your child is eating an orange during the half-time of a soccer game the image may end up accompanying an article in our Nutrition channel. How can I enter my child’s picture in the photo contest?
You will need to send your JPEG file along with your name and mailing address to photos@YouthSportsParents.com. JPEGs must be under 80k.If a submitted photo does not appear this month, could it possibly appear at a later date?
Yes! Just because your child’s photo does not appear this month does not mean it won’t appear in the future. Remember, though, that while you may be eligible to receive Promotional Items from Clif Kid – because yours was among the first 200 submitted for a particular sport and the first 2,000 eligible entries – your photo may not be selected for posting on YouthSportsParents.com. If you do not receive an e-mail from Youth Sports Parents stating that your photograph has been selected for posting, it has not been selected. How will Youth Sports Parents choose which photographs to post?
Images will be selected based on the quality and originality of the image, and all decisions by Youth Sports Parents as to which images to post will be final. Youth Sports Parents has 55 sports on our current web site, with home pages for over 100 sports and activities in the planning stages for our new website. The best chance of being among the first 200 entrants for a particular sport (and one of the first 2,000 overall) so as to be eligible to receive Promotional Items from Clif Kid is to send a photo of your child participating in a sport other than one of the most popular sports (e.g. football, soccer, basketball, baseball etc.) because of the likelihood that Youth Sports Parents will receive 200 entrants for these sports early in the contest period. Will entrants be notified if their photos are selected for posting?
Yes. All those entrants whose photographs have been selected for posting will receive notification via e-mail stating that their children's photos have been selected. Remember: as long as you are among the first 200 entrants for a particular sport and one of the first 2,000 overall, you will be eligible to receive Promotional Items from Clif Kid, regardless of whether your photo is selected for posting. Can I enter my child's photo into different contests on the Internet?
Yes, but you are encouraged not to enter the same photograph in different contests because, if your child’s photo is selected for posting by Youth Sports Parents, Youth Sports Parents will own the photograph you submitted to us and, by agreeing to the contest terms, you will have agreed not to allow it to be published elsewhere, either on the Internet or in print publications. Is there a way to snail mail my child's picture for the contest?
We can only accept photographs that are e mailed to us at this time. You can have your pictures scanned and saved on disk at various business establishments if you don't have a digital camera or scanner. You state that pictures must be in .jpg format. What is a .jpg file?
There are several different types of file formats that you can save your pictures as once they are scanned; one of these file formats is .jpg. We ask that you send your pictures as .jpg files because that is the best quality for photos and for posting them to our site. Please do not send file sizes over 80k.Why do you only accept photos from U.S. Residents??
At this time we can only accept pictures from U.S. Residents because our sponsor for the contest only ships within the United States. How often can I enter my photos in the contest?
