Lacrosse helmets for girls?

My daughter received a concussion this spring playing lacrosse.  I’m looking for some kind of soft head gear for her to wear next year.  Do you know of a company that sells them?

Any information would be appreciated.

check out this company, I

check out this company, I wonder if these would work for girls lacrosse as well, I bet they do, the founder created this company after his daughter suffered multiple concussions in soccer, another sport you don't really associate with head injuries like girls lacrosse.

Helmets for Girls/Women's lacrosse

Currently there are no protective helmets specifically for women's lacrosse. There is the cascade protective eye gear that is commonly used in women's lax but that is not a helmet that will help a child that has a history of concussions. Cascade does make a men's lacrosse helmet and a hockey helmet that could be used but they are a hard shell helmet not soft. Here is a link to hockey helmets: http://www.greatskate.com/category/s/77/m/0/hockey-helmets.aspx

Brine and Riddle make a hard shell helmet for men's/boys lacrosse that would work but it is not soft like you ask for originally. Here is a link for Brine, Riddle, and Cascade lacrosse helmets: http://www.flalax.com/index.cfm/MenuItemID/130.htm

If you want something that is soft and something that could be used to protect this child's head during games and practices, I would look at martial arts sparring gear helmets.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
