Dr. Keith J. Cronin is a physical therapist and expert in sports rehabilitation and product development. Keith owns Sports and Healthcare Solutions, LLC a consulting company that provides support to sports and rehabilitation products companies, while also also creating educational opportunities for parents, coaches, athletes, and clinicians maximize the experience for young athletes. Keith has published more than 100 articles on various sports and health related topics, including MomsTEAM, Advanced Magazine, The Nines, and the American Coaching Academy. Keith is an reviewer for the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy (IJSPT) and expert blogger for the International Youth and Conditioning Association (IYCA.org). Keith has been featured on Fox News for several segments, including concussions and ACL prevention. In 2012, Keith appeared in the PBS concussion documentary "The Smartest Team: Making High School Football Safer" produced by MomsTEAM. In 2008, Keith was one of the winners of the Olin Business Cup from Washington University for his medical product innovation, Medibite Jaw Rehabilitation Systems. In 2012, Keith was presented with the Community Service Award through SSM Physical Therapy for work with various community and running events, including BackStoppers, Joplin Tornado Survivors, and the MO' Cowbell Marathon.
Keith received his bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO in 2004. Keith later attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2008. In 2013 Keith was board credentialed as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) attaining the highest level in rehabilitative orthopedic care. Having been a collegiate baseball player, legion baseball coach, and personal trainer, he has a great deal of experience working both to rehabilitate and education the athletic community. In graduate school, Keith focused his research on identifying elbow injury risk amongst softball pitchers.
