Diving is a recreational or competitive sport in which strength, flexibility, and good judgment are required to succeed, and is very much like gymnastics. While diving is not a very popular participant sport, it is one of the most popular Olympic spectator sports.

Diving can be a very dangerous activity and sport, especially when un-supervised. If your child wants to be a diver, either recreationally or competitively, it is imperative that they must take the proper diving lessons by a certified coach. Most accidents happen because inexperienced divers have the wrong form and the wrong perception, or judgment, of how much room they have between the board and the pool, or the depth of water.

MomsTeam's goal is to provide comprehensive information on diving: advice on the equipment needed and how to buy it, a primer on the rules of the sport, and videos and advice from experts, parents, and manufacturers of diving gear.
