Youth Hockey: Making Sure the Helmet Fits

Angela Ruggiero, US Women's National Hockey Team Member and three time Olympian, explains that a child's helmet for youth hockey fits properly if:

  1. The chin strap and mask bracket are secure; and

  2. The helmet fits snugly and fits on the head tight in every direction.
