My daughter is a champ. Not only in track, but in anything she puts her mind and her spirit into. She's a delight and joy. To watch her encourage and help shape a championship 4x200 relay team was no surprise. She's always had the ability to bring out the best in others. In her junior year, she and her 4x200 team were able to will the state championship. In her senior year, they were not able to repeat their feat. However, they came in second in the state championship meet, paring a whole second off of their previous years championship time. Now my daughter is done with track (most likely) but she'll continue to be a source of encouragement and team spirit in all the venues she encounters in her life.
