About Us
MomsTeam.com® is the premier online youth sports information gateway for the 90 million youth sports parents seeking advice, community and product information from a world-class team of expert psychologists, nutritionists, athletes, medical doctors, journalists coaches, referees and parents dedicated to one mission: to make sure that youth sports is safe for all children ages 3 to 23. MomsTeam.com is owned and published by MomsTeam Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit.
Our mission is to
provide youth sports stakeholders with comprehensive education,
practical information, best practices and resources to keep all children
safe physically, psychologically, and sexually while playing sports.
Established in 2000 as a research/content site, MomsTeam.com has grown to become the central repository for "teachable-moment" videos and an extensive and up-to-date site with over 40,000 pages of information.
But more important than the go-to site for youth sports information is the fact that MomsTeam has become a well-received and trusted brand, according to Good Housekeeping Magazine and numerous other reputable media sources.
People know that trust has to be earned. MomsTeam has earned its reputation as the Trusted Source for Youth Sports Parents. It is one thing to say we are the "trusted source", quite another to spend fifteen years building that reputation. It takes years of doing something right to be given the trust by many of the country's top medical doctors, sports psychologists, coaches, athletic trainers, nurses, nutritionists, athletes and other notable experts.
One way to measure the trust parents have placed in us is to look at the books that recommend MomsTeam.com and its founder and author of HOME TEAM ADVANTAGE: The Critical Role of Mothers In Youth Sports (Harper Collins), Brooke de Lench.
Here's a list of just some of the books that list MomsTeam as the place to find the very best youth sports information:
