When Is Immediate Hospitalization After Concussion Required?

Meehan, III, says that an immediate trip to the nearest hospital emergency room is warranted if an athlete's concussion symptoms are getting worse, not better, if the athlete is vomiting, or where the loss of consciousness was prolonged (more than 15 seconds).
