Biography As Director of Athletics and Recreation at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire, Deborah McGrath oversees sixteen intercollegiate programs for men and women and is one of only a handful of women at co-educational colleges in New England holding such a post. Prior to coming to Colby-Sawyer, Ms. McGrath was Associate Athletic Director of Athletics at Wheaton College, where she received her B.A. in Psychology. She has coached women's field hockey and lacrosse at Dartmouth, Brown and Harvard, sports that she played at the national team level. Ms. McGrath has served on numerous regional and national committees in both field hockey and lacrosse, including the National Field Hockey Coaching Committee and Co-Chairman of the Top Level Play Committee for US Squad Development.
