...Practice Being Organized

Most coaches are aware that organization of practices is essential for a successful program. It also allows, by example, athletes to realize that there is more to practicing than just throwing around the ball and running plays. Coaches should also try to stick to the schedule as much as they can. For example, if they say that practice is 2 hours long, it should be 2 hours long - not 1 1/2 or 3 hours. They must realize that some of the athletes have other committments they must meet whether they be family responsibilities to attend to.
