As I mentioned in the my first blog entry, as gas prices have reached an all-time high (4+ dollars a gallon), there have been recent reports of children dropping out of youth sports all over the country. The travel demands combined with the travel expenses and rising fuel costs have simply become unaffordable for the average American family.

As gas prices have reached an all-time high (4+ dollars a gallon), it is clearly taking a toll on families all over the country. According to  newsandtribune.com, there have been recent reports of children dropping out of youth sports all over the country. The travel demands in most sports combined with the travel expenses and rising fuel costs are too much; these costs have simply become unaffordable for the average American family.
